How I Organized my Bedroom Closet

How often do you find yourself staring at your closet, getting stuck in a rut and not understanding how to put together an outfit? Do you have this challenge from time to time? Well, Organizing a wardrobe could be a challenging task, especially when you are a working woman.

We need things to be handy and easy to pick up, especially when we are getting late, which is quite often in my case.

In this blog, I am going to share how I organized my wardrobe which made my task easier.

#1: DIY Cardbord organizer

Carton boxes are available in every home. And many DIY videos are available on YouTube for the reference. I watched videos and made my own organizer. The most important thing in every DIY is measurement. First take the proper measurement of the drawer and the other areas of your coupboard where you keep or hang clothes. Next, you decide where do you want to keep your jackets, tops and jeans, legging and other daily wears. And a separate place for grand dresses. Then, take the carboard and cut according to the measurement and warp with your favourite colour paper.

Roll all your leggings and keep in the carborad organiser. Keep same colour or same shade leggings together. Then make another organizer to keep your patiyala, palazzo pants and pants separately.

I keep my leggings and other pants separately because it alleviates the confusions between the same color pants and leggings.

#2: Keep overcoat and top together

I keep my overcoat and top together to avoid wasting time on deciding what to wear on it. So, I always make the pair and keep. My weekend is all about organizing my wardrobe and buying new stuff for my wardrobe. Because, your wardrobe says a lot about you. Your clothes say about your personality.

The best ways to do:

1. Make a list of your pants, leggings, jeans, patiyalas, palazzos and skirts.

2. Then, make a list of short and long tops separately and with colours.

3. Next, decide the pair of tops and bottoms.

4. Accordingly, hang your tops and just below those tops keep your bottoms in a box.

Note: Make sure that the storage box is cubical otherwise it might get mixed up with other pants and make it difficult to find out your desirable bottom.

#3: Keep different shades of same colour together.

Keeping your clothes this way would again save your time. It will help you find exactly what you are looking for because all the shades are right in front of you. It gives a good look to your wardrobe and makes it splendid. It will help you to decide colours for the days of a week.

Mismatching is in style. Keeping different shades of the same color will help you in making a perfect mismatch in just too less time.

#4: Keep special occasion dresses separately

Do not mix your daily wears with your occasion dresses as it might occupy more space and confuse you. Keeping it separately will give you a clear idea of what to wear for what occasion. It will save your time as you will not have to waste your time in searching it because everything will be thoughtfully organized.

You can also keep your occasion Jewellery along with your occasion dresses. Label your jewelry box to find out which jewellery to wear with what dress.
