What’s a complete Persian clothing style?!

A complete Persian clothing style consists of the following:

  • A head veil with a band. The normal head covering is a rectangular wrapped round the head and fastened on top with either a metal or gold pin.

  • A bow scarf around the neck.

  • A long, loose robe with a round neckline, a slit down the center of the bodice, and long, wide sleeves, worn over a chemise. The fabric used today is synthetic. The material may be plain or printed with an allover design. The costume is consummated with a long, rectangular headscarf of transparent fabric, colorfully embroidered all around.
