Why traditional Persian clothing style is sophisticated!!!

Definition of Tradition in Oxford Dictionary: A long-established custom or belief that has been passed on from one generation to another.

Other meaning: An artistic or literary method or style established by an artist, writer, or movement, and subsequently followed by others.

Every country’s capital city has a different tradition. Every tradition is unique and resplendent. There is always a reason why a group or community follow a tradition as the definition of tradition itself says that it’s a style established by an artist, inditer, or kineticism, and subsequently followed by others.

In this article I’m going to apportion why the traditional Persian attire is classy and sophisticated.

Let’s begin with the meaning of sophistication:

What’s a complete Persian clothing style?!

A complete Persian clothing style consists of the following:

  • A head veil with a band. The normal head covering is a rectangular wrapped round the head and fastened on top with either a metal or gold pin.

  • A bow scarf around the neck.

  • A long, loose robe with a round neckline, a slit down the center of the bodice, and long, wide sleeves, worn over a chemise. The fabric used today is synthetic. The material may be plain or printed with an allover design. The costume is consummated with a long, rectangular headscarf of transparent fabric, colorfully embroidered all around.

There was a little change in the clothing style of the Persians with the arrival of Arabs and Islam in Persia.

The look of overall dressing is quite affluent. Especially that robe gives extraordinary look. Robes are designed and made with high end fabrics. It gives a very classy look. Even today, the Iranians wear a chemise with a robe and head scarf.
